RCSGA-WCGA Joint Statement (May 30th, 2020)
Please read above statement from WCGA and RCSGA. A few weeks ago, we released a statement in support of justice for Ahmad Arbery and all POC on campus. As another black man unjustly dies at the hands of a police officer, we will not remain silent on the issue of police brutality and racism against black communities across the country. We will continue to stand for the oppressed and use our platform to raise awareness about the systemic racism that exists in this country. As MLK once said, “The silence of the good people is more dangerous than the brutality of the bad people.” Don’t remain silent and please speak up!
